Frederick Willis Reynolds, age 72 of Holland, passed away October15, 2020 following a battle with cancer. Gene was a long-time member of Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCA). He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Wyco Seymour daughters Kimberly Napora (Bo) of Oakland, MD Karen Holland (Patrick) of Erie, PA and Katheryn Monk (Gannett) of Sissonville, WV. ![]() In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his three siblings, Helen, Arthur, and Dawn. Glenn enjoyed an amazing December and Christmas holiday with family and friends before departing this life peacefully sleeping in his favorite chair. In his travels as an investigator for the tax department, he took it upon himself to take photos of most of the WV historic roadside markers, which he put into an album and eventually donated to the Jackson County Library. He also loved humor and was an excellent story and joke teller. Few visitors left without a tour of the shop and hand-made gifts to take home. His passion was woodworking, and he was lucky to have a woodworking shop in his backyard during his retirement years. Glenn was especially proud of his daughters and enjoyed being a grandfather to his 6 grandchildren. ![]() He was married to his beautiful wife Elizabeth for 67 years. Glenn was a stern man, but if you were a friend, it was for life. Glenn then went on to work as an investigator for the West Virginia State Tax Department until his retirement in 1995. Shirley Westenbroek, age 84, of Holland, was welcomed home into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, Jat Holland. He was instrumental in the building of the original Ripley State Police barracks on Route 62. Give to a forest in need in their memory. After returning home from Korea, he became a WV State Trooper serving many communities including Princeton, Lewisburg, Elizabeth, Point Pleasant, Parkersburg and Ripley until his retirement in 1977. Following his graduation from high school, he joined the Marines and served in the Korean Conflict. Glenn graduated from Trap Hill (now Liberty) High School in 1951 and was a star athlete in football and basketball. He was born April 10, 1933, in Eccles, WV to Oscar and Vivian Dickenson Seymour.
